Building upon the post from a couple days ago about the GHS Solutions scam, there is now a class action lawsuit in Kentucky against GHS Solutions. The suit, headed by Brett and Linda Davis, alleges that GHS Solutions “are engaged in a continuing class-wide predatory business scheme to financially enrich themselves and defraud Kentucky Class members by violating Kentucky’s Debt Adjusting statute”. The suit goes on to list Global Client Solutions and the Rocky Mountain Bank and Trust, two companies which are used by the majority of debt settlement companies.
The suit appears to be seeking in excess of $5,000,000 in damages and goes on to outline specific issues with the business model of GHS Solutions. The Plaintiffs (Davises) paid $3,750 in fees to GHS without any actions being taken on their accounts. Just found today that these poeple scammed my 87 year old mother out of $2000.00. CALL A LAWYER, PASS THIS INFORMATION ON.
I have been signed on with this company since Oct. 2008 and I live in kentucky.They have paid off two bills for me as they said they would.Now all of a sudden they are not deducting my payments and tell me I cannot get a refund from them…even though they are failing their end of the contract I signed.Now what do I do about my bills?Should I go with another company or join this suit or what??? PLEASE Help.
ghs is nothing but a scam i payed into thier program for 8 months at a rate of $465.00 A month when b of a called to me to make a settlement i called ghs to tell them to pay this account off thay told me i didnt have enough money in my account what i found out was that ghs holds all of their fees out upfront not one word of this was ever said to me when this account was set up to make a long story short thay kept $2600.00 of my money
how do i sigh up for this lawsuit ghs screwed me out of $17oo.00 dollars and none of my creditors were ever payed a dime
I also have had problems with GHS solutions – they never told me they were going to take all their fees up front with my orginal paperwork was never told that – every person you talk to there tells you a different story – I got papers served at my house to appear in court – was told this would never happen when I signed up with the program – - They list their fees as a ” retainer” I assumed they had an attorney I could speak to re these papers served at my house –
was told me someone from their legal department would contact me – I found out NO ONE is an attorney – just young kids!
Now I am really in a mess!
I joined a company called Credit Consultants which is a Debt Management Organization that provides debt help to consumers. HA! They are tied in with Global Client Services. For the past 8 months $650.00 automatically came out of my checking account totalling $5200.00. I was going to be debt free in 34 months! The amount in my account to pay the creditors? $654.00!! The other $4,546.00 was a “set up ” fee which my “account manager” was not able to explain. I was instructed to stop paying the creditors and not to believe anything they tell me. I was told they would pay once the accounts went to collections. Not true. After 8 months I am out $4,546.00, have creditors up the wazoo and two law firms preparing to garnish my wages!! Oh, they did pay $23.00 towards one of my creditors. I only owe them $600 more dollars. My only advice is to call all your creditors. I started doing that today. They reduced the balances and when I called the two law firms they were very helpful in directing as to the next steps to help me get back on the road to recovery. I called screaming at the “crooks” who were quick to promise to send me the $654.00 and close my account with them. I feel and will fight for an additional $1,946.00 which I feel is more than do me. The should refund the entire amount. There was never any communication and their response time was nill. My “account crook” actually asked me what I wanted him to do! I told him I wanted him to refund all my money. I realized how foolish it was being that he wasn’t able to settle ANY accounts over 8 months with $5,200.00. He shouldn’t even be allowed to wash bird doo off the windshields of cars.
I have in possession an Affidavit from Fla”s District Attornery”s office in regards to GHS. Whats going on FRAUD?

I also have been scammed by GHS. Please help me. I have been paying them for a year and have been summons by one of my debtors. GHS said they will help me. I did everything they said. Then after I went to court, they told me I will have to settle with my debtor on my own. So I am paying my debt twice. Once to them and once to my debtor. They told me this would not hurt my credit. My credit is ruined. I have always had good credit and paid my debts. Now my 6 yr old and I may lose our home. I have worked so hard all my life to loose everything because of this company.
I got scammed out of $800. They never told me they were going to take all their fees out upfront. I couldn’t afford $200.00 per month. It just wasn’t going to happen. I called and wrote to cancel and they flat out told me too bad, so sad. “We keep your $800 as part of the fees” AND they insisted they forwarded me a contract stating so. I never got such a thing and they never told me they were sending me such thing so I never knew to look for it. Now I hear there is a class action suit because a friend of mine got a post card. I never got one and want in on this. Anybody know what tom do?
Do u dummies read your agreement? It showed me where my funds were going. You have to sign it to agree to it.
I JUST FOUND OUT I’VE BEEN SCAMMED. LUCKILY I ONLY PAID 800SOMETHING, BUT GLOBAL CLAIMS I CAN’T GET MY MONEY BACK. I DESPERATELY NEED IT.
I am currently paying $200. a month to GCS and receiving calls from the companies they were supposed to have paid off saying they haven’t even heard from GCS. I am on disability and can’t afford the fees they’re stealing from me. If their is a class-action suit, I want in on it! Please e-mail me if you know anything about one. Thank you
is there a lawsuit aginst GHS if so who do i cotact. i dished out 207 dollars a month for almost two years nothing paid. i cancelled their program and got a refund of 284.58 big deal, where is the rest of my money.
I agree with the Davis’s. I paid them the same amount and I had to go to court 3 times and they have never settled any of my debts. I settled 2 of them and the other was bought out by Midland Credit Management. They have nothing signed by us so I had to get an attorney which cost me $1500.00 to get out of it. I joined them in 2009 and all it has been is a big headache. They were nice as long as you were paying them their fees. After that I could never get them to call me back. Good luck to the Davis’s I hope they teach these people not to take money from people who are down on their luck and then not follow through.
GHS took all your money and quit the business. They gave all of their clients to EFA Processing owned by Ken Talbert, and that is the king pin of the whole debt settlement industry scam. He is the guy behind the scenes for all the worst companies. He just has a system of keeping his companies hidden. Interesting stuff
We were led to believe our debt would be paid. We paid $263.oo per month for 14 months. Our credit card was to be paid off Jan. 2012. GHS then said we did not have enough money to pay the credit card. And we w0uld have to pay $358.00 another 12 months. Where is all the money we paid GHS
GHS never did what we paid them to do. We stopping our payments and we are contacting the Better Business Bureau!
